Medani Programme

In 2019, six women aged 17-22 graduated from the 3-month ASM mentorship programme in Gezira state. This was the first mentoring programme to be launched outside of Khartoum, and it was a success. Mentees gained confidence in themselves and their abilities, and key professional skills that will propel them forward in their careers. At the workshops that were conducted, mentees learned about public speaking, leadership skills, and scholarship opportunities.

Economic Empowerment Programme

In 2019, six women participated in the ASM economic empowerment programme for female entrepreneurs. The two-day workshop and launch event promoted the businesses of six female entrepreneurs. Participants gained key entrepreneurial skills that have strengthened their businesses, and to they have also had access to network of successful female entrepreneurs.

Alumni Programme

The alumni programme was launched in 2019 to connect mentees and mentors from previous years in order to build a network for continual learning and development. Engaging, and dynamic events and workshops were organised to bring alumni together so that they could continue to benefit from the ASM network.

ASM Knowledge Library

In 2018, we opened the ASM Knowledge Library in Khartoum, and organised exciting book events. The knowledge library is currently only available for ASM Alumni, but we hope to re-open it to the public in the near future.
