ASM Young Leaders Programme

This is the first time that ASM has worked with high school mentees to run a short three month mentoring programme in which mentors are from our alumni network. Eleven second year high school mentees aged between 14-17 were mentored by 11 Alumni mentors based in Khartoum who graduated from ASM in the past five years for a period of 3 months.

The programme covered the following areas:

• Personal development (Identity and Self Reflection)
• Wellbeing (Conflict Resolution, Self-Care and Mental Health)
• Professional development (Leadership Skills, Organisation Skills, Time Management, Problem Solving Skills, Presentation Skills, Public Speaking, and Communication Skills)
• Career Planning and Goal Setting
• Women's empowerment
