Mai Khidir

Founder and CEO

Mai graduated with a BSc in Pharmacology, since graduating she has worked as a PR and marketing professional, and as conference manager for life science events in London. During her time in these companies, she found that her true passion was in making a positive impact to the health of individuals, and thus, she pursued a Masters in Public Health, and is currently working in this sector. Having been raised in London, Mai endeavours to assist in the development of Sudan. She was selected as a MILEAD fellow by Moremi Initiative in 2013, and that experience inspired the development of the Al Sudaniya Mentoring programme, which seeks to empower and raise the aspirations of young Sudanese women.

Amit Parekh


Having graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biochemistry from King’s College London, Amit has continued his education by choosing to study Pharmacy at the University of Wolverhampton. Amit also has a passion for technology and innovation, using this and his technical knowledge he is able help the Al Sudaniya team reach their goals.


Samah Ahmed


Samah is a Media Advertising professional, with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Until recently Samah was based in Dubai, UAE working with BBC Worldwide, she is currently based in Brighton, UK. Outside work, Samah is a passionate member of the Sudanese diaspora, keen to contribute to the progress of Sudan, especially in the areas of youth development and education.
